Playoffs
Playoffs for basketball are here and that means that this is the busiest worst time of the year. Now we have basketball and the games are important. Then we go stock show the very next day. This means that I'm gonna be worn out for about the next two weeks. Another con for this time of year is you have no time to do homework and now that I'm taking two college classes I really need some spare time. The only good thing about playoffs is that the more you win the less time you spend in track. I also am glad that its stockshow season because stockshows are freaking amazing. Talk about the most fun ever, stockshows will leave your fun box a little winded from having the best time of your life. The pros and cons are both substantial but no matter what happens it will be alot of fun.

School is exhausting...
I'm getting so tired of school. I need this christmas break more than anything in the world. Everyday I go to school and feel like I'm just wasting my time. I'm just ready to graduate and do something different. Speaking of graduating how do people not let high schoolers drink legally but allow them to choose what they want to do with the rest of there lives. I can honestly say that I don't have a preferred job choice at all at the moment and I can't see me thinking one up by next year either. This is why I've really been considering going into the air force so you can get that huge GI bill so I don't have to worry about sticking with one job cause I will have enough money to go to college for whatever. But I'll talk about that some other time. Right now the only thing on my mind is
nothing at all actually because school is sucking the life out of me. I can't wait till christmas break.

Frustration
School is killing me.... I can handle everything and everyone. I'm am just getting tired of the fact that I feel like everyday is deja-vu and the feeling is killing me cause everyday I think it's gonna get better but things don't change and as much as I try I can't do a thing. Maybe if I was older I could be taken more seriously but no one is gonna listen to some 16 year old even if I am smarter than half the people running the operation. Then again maybe that's my problem and that's probably why they would never listen to me..... Haha, oh well.

Basketball
BASKETBALL IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait. Basketball is probably the best sport in the world. Like EVER! (Taylor Swift quote). I'm really excited mainly because due to my latest injury I wasn't allowed to play football and I guess I am just excited to be useful and actually do something. Not doing anything day in and day out really gets irritating and even though basketball may be really hard I can't wait to be doing something again!

Looking up to who?
Do you ever feel like if you messed up you would ruin the lives of alot of other people. Like the weight of everyone looking up to you finally was to much and you couldn't take it anymore and you let everyone down. The pressure we put on people is ridiculous.
Actors, athletes, and leaders everywhere are always being expected to do to much and then we wonder what's wrong with them when they snap and do one little thing wrong and the whole universe criticizes them. People should consider what they feel like before they hate them for doing something as harmless as drinking to much at a bar. Then again, at the same time why do we constantly look up to people who are constantly doing wrong? We expect more out of them but they didn't do anything in the first place for us to look up to them for. I just hope one day we can accept the fact that everyone will do something wrong and it doesn't matter as long as they can fix their mistake.
Food for thought.

Collar Bone Blues
Well i actually should've already blogged twice before this week but... I forgot. Here goes my blog with no inspiration though.
I broke my collar bone second scrimmage of football this year which was two days before school even started. A collar bone is the bone that connects to your shoulder and top of your rib cage and basically just supports your shoulder so you can guess that the doctor recently explained that i wouldn't be playing football again this year. The expression you never know what you got until it's gone was brought to light. As soon as it happened that expression shot into my mind. Two-a-days this year was super hard, and I was having a hard time even finishing it. Saying that, as soon as i found out it was broke I almost couldn't take it. To have something taken from you in that kind of manner is unreal. Alot of y'all are probably saying "man getting hurt would be amazing since I wouldn't have to do anything." In reality though, it's heartbreaking to know that you won't be able to help out your team or even help them in the least bit. I guess getting hurt is a good test of character though, and I feel like that's why it happens to people. The hardest part is accepting the reality that you can't do anything to help out your brothers (when you play sports your teammates become your brothers) when all you want to do is forget the world and just do whatever you can to be there for them. When you accept what you can't do though, it is also the worst turning point in your life because you will completely turn your back on the people that you swore you would do anything for.
Getting hurt is over-rated and if you wish you could get hurt to get out of practices or something you shouldn't be playing. If you wouldn't step out onto the field or court and do anything for your brothers or sisters you've already lost because isn't our friends the only reason we play sports in the first place?

Church is CRAZY!!
I haven't had anything to talk about recently but today I have been thinking about religion a lot, especially church. I am a christian. I was born a christian and raised as one but recently I can't get past the feeling of the unimportance of the church. I mean in the bible it never states that church is necessary and actually states that the people make up the body of christ. The church is not apart of that body which makes me think that church is really what you feel inside. Sure it's nice to have someone to hold you accountable but there really is no difference between church and a devotion at home. The part I can't stand though is the fact that some people really do feel that church is necessary. Why are there denominations? Why do we go to a church and listen to a preacher? We all worship the same god. If the human race is really so prejudice that we have to come up with different ways to worship the same god; maybe we are helpless. I like to think that god doesn't like church either. If you think about it, why would he? So many people are completely torn away from god because of their different opinions of what church should be when really, shouldn't church be something that you and only you can regulate? We have the holy spirit inside of us. Shouldn't be our decision on how to let it out?
While I disagree on the stance of going to church though, I don't want people to think I disagree with the whole bible. The bible is great and their are millions of ways to interpret everything it says and the way I interpret it is a basis for how you should live your life for god and a description on how to get to heaven. The part I disagree with or not even disagrees but more or less doesn't feel the need for is an organized church that tries to limit the way you worship god. I know however that church is good for people and gives them a since of community with other people but i think the way it is ran like worship has a rule book is wrong. Preaching however I feel is best for some people while others like me would rather learn from just reading the bible. The bible is confusing and I feel like preachers are necessary kind of how jesus preached to everyone. I just think that the worship service around the sermon is not a good set up for some because of restrictions it gives you. And yes, I believe god wants us to have our own opinion so I just hope that by reading this your inspired to really think about how you want to worship god. Also, here is a youtube video of spoken word called Why I Love Jesus but Hate Religion that really focuses on the same subject and is a great video that I think everyone needs to watch! That's all I have to say and it would be awesome to get feedback on this... SEE YA!
